Only wash your hair with conditioner. Don't use shampoo. Buy Aveda, which contains no sulfates. This is what strips your hair of oils and color. You can always ask the people at the beauty supply to show you a product called a clear cellophane, you put over your hair after a day or so.. of dying blue. This will keep it a bit longer. I liked blue, found it hard to keep in my hair too, but this might help a little. Good luck!Does putting blue hair dye into shampoo help?
It might eventually dye all your hair blue. You will just have to deal with it fading in time and re-do it every so often.
Eh!!! I hate that!!! I've done it with red.....

Putting it in your shampoo will help the color last a little longer. Are you using color-safe shampoo and conditioner??? That helps as well.

Don't put too much in your shampoo or you'll have blue hands. Also, try to stay out of the sun.. it's a drag because it makes your hair look kick *** but it will make it fade faster.

Hope that helps.
hey - i can't say for sure, but i really don't think it's a good idea to put the dye in shampoo. you should just get color safe shampoo. fructose garnier shampoos have a great color care shampoo/conditioning combo. i believe that the chemicals in the hair dye may or may not counteract the chemicals in the shampoo, making the shampoo not as good. it could also hurt your hair. in my advice - dye it and use the fructose garnier stuff - that company also has really great hair dye - quality products. good luck!
